Things dont' look exactly like I would like them to look, but they improved it greatly. Maybe tomorrow we'll work on making beds together. I don't expect perfection from myself, so I should expect them to perform at my level. It's all about helping them learn without working them too hard. We don't want complacency or laziness. We are all a work in progress, and I need to allow that for them. Sometimes I will follow behind and make their bed, so they can see an example of a neat bed. Mostly, I just let it go and work on it the next day.
Just in case you haven't noticed, tomorrow is the last day of our de-cluttering journey. I can see that I still have so far to go, but I'll be taking a break from all the de-cluttering and continue to do little bits every day, but not whole rooms. :)
I have some new things lined up that I am going to try. We'll see if it works for our busy schedule. I have lots of DIY projects. I have always waited for hubby to tackle them and he is way too busy doing the job that he must complete by April next year and his full-time job, soooooo I am going to attempt some of the easier ones with the help of my boys who know how to use Dad's tools somewhat.
If you'd like to join me, I plan to post the projects we're working on and we can do them together.
It's all about being a helper to my husband and making our home a haven.
Making the most of today,
Steph
