Cooking Tuesday - Hamburger Goulash

Hamburger Goulash

2 lbs of ground beef

 ½ c onion

1 cups water

½ T garlic

½ c  ketchup

 ½ T mustard

1 T Worchestershire sauce

1 t paprika

½ t salt

1 T flour

¼ c  cold water

1 pkg noodles

1 gallon bags

Brown hamburger in onion, drain.  Add water, garlic, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and salt.  Bring  to a boil.  Simmer.

Combine flour and cold water  until smooth and add to meat mixture.  Bring to a boil.  Cook and stir till thickened.   Pour over cooked noodles and mix well.  Place in bag.  Another idea is to boil the noodles on the day, and heat the mixture on the stove and pour them over the noodles.

Label with noodles:

Thaw.  Bake at 350 degrees for 75 to 90 minutes, with a piece of tin foil laid on top of the pan.

Label without noodles:

Heat on the stove.  Cook 1 package of noodles.  Pour sauce over noodles.  Mix together thoroughly and serve.
